The association for society development “Kap” is currently underway with a campaign to mark and promote the international men's day in BH, which is to be marked on November 19th.
The goal for marking and publicly promoting this date is to- increase awareness about men's and boys health because analysis shows that the life expectancy of men is in average 7 years shorter then the life expectancy of women.
The main goal for the marking of this day is to increase men's awareness about their health through a public media campaign.
The second goal is the promotion of gender equality and a collective celebration of this date, and the emphasis on positive male role models in different segments of society.
Positive male roles are going to be presented in direct public promotion by prominent men from Bosnia and Herzegovina from the media, culture and sports who are going to appeal for better health and social services and work protection, for the gender equality, advocating non-violence against women and an appeal for dignified living.
The construction of a website www.danmuskaraca.ba is planned and is going to be released on October 19th , and it is going to be available for a month – until November 19th, so the public can suggest and vote for “the best men” who is going to receive the award on the international men's day in an event in the Bosmal building in Sarajevo.
Interested companies, associations, organizations and institutions can take part in the marking of this day.
