CHINESE WOMAN INDICTED FOR ATTEMPTING TO BRIBE INSPECTORS IN BRCKO

The Prosecution of BiH filed an indictment against Lin Yongqin, who is charged with the crime of giving gifts and other benefits.

 

Lin Yongqin was born in 1970 in China and is currently residing in the Brcko District.

 

According to the indictment, Lin Yongqin, on the 11th of February 2010, was found by inspectors in a facility in the Brcko District selling footwear, which is contrary to the work permit in the Brcko District of BiH.

 

Yongqin offered the inspectors a great amount of money rolled up in various denominations. The money was in Bosnia's local currency KM, as well as Euros. Yongqin expected for the officers to return her passport and to not press charges against her for committing the offense, the officers refused to do so.

 

The indictment was forwarded to the Court for confirmation.
