Movie star and politician Arnold Schwarzenegger is developing a TV show and comic book with Spider-Man co-creator Stan Lee.
The Austrian-born star told Entertainment Weekly that the project would be called The Governator.
A Squared Entertainment, which will help produce the show, said it would focus on a superhero living a double life as an ordinary family man.
Schwarzenegger will provide the voice of the title character.
The series is planned as the first stage of a franchise that could also include comics and films, and is expected to come out next year.
Schwarzenegger was best known for starring in the Terminator action films, but he also appeared in several comedy movies, including Kindergarten Cop and Twins.
In 2003, he turned his back on acting and launched a political career, serving as the 38th governor of California.
He stood down earlier this year after serving eight years in office.
