U.S. EMBASSY BRINGS INTERNATIONAL EXPERT ON WOMEN’S POLITICAL PARTICIPATION TO BOSNIA

The Office of Public Affairs of the U.S. Embassy, as part of the Embassy’s ongoing efforts to promote equality and empowerment of women in BiH society, welcomes Stephanie Foster, an international expert on political participation and the role of women in policy advocacy, to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Foster will lead a series of programs to help develop the leadership capacities of women in social and political life in Bosnia and Herzegovina, visiting Sarajevo, Mostar and Banja Luka from April 24 to 27.

Foster’s program will include discussions with NGO representatives, government representatives, and others to provide a forum for the exchange of experiences and to discuss current leadership roles of women in BiH and how best to advance efforts to help women in BiH society.
