THE INTERNATIONAL MEN'S DAY TO BE CELEBRATED IN BH FOR THE FIRST TIME

The society development association “Kap” has started its campaign for the marking and promotion of the International men's day in BH. The day is going to be marked on November 19th in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The goal of the marking and public promotion of this date is to raise awareness about the health of men and boys, because data shows that the lifespan of men is 7 years shorter then the lifespan of women.

This date is also marked in order to raise the awareness of men about their own health through a public media campaign.

The second goal of this promotion of gender equality through a dialogue and common marking of this date, and noting positive male role models and examples from different areas of society.

The www.danmuskaraca.ba website was launched, and is going to available November 19th for the public to submit votes for the “best man”. The “best men” is going to receive the award in Sarajevo.  

Support this date because the International men's day was recognized by the UN.
