80-year old Vasiljka Lazovic from Prijepolje (Montenegro) fell down into the 11-meter deep water-well, but she managed to pull herself out of the well by climbing up the stone wall.
“I was falling with my head foremost. I hit a knob in the wall with the top of my head and then I fell on the water and mud at the bottom of the water-well”, said Vasiljka.
She did not lose self-confidence as she took off her shoes and started climbing.
“I was carefully putting my feet in somewhat wider holes between the stones. It lasted for quite a while. I made two steps, found an appropriate hole in the wall, took a break and then repeated it again. My arms and legs hurt due to physical effort and I was trembling due to cold water”, she added.
Vasiljka realized that she survived by some miracle only when she almost reached the top of the water-well.
“I was afraid to look down and I could not climb up more because of almost one-meter concrete wall at the beginning of the well”, Vasiljka said.
She then started to scream for help and the help was provided by her neighbor Petra Lazovic.
“I felt some bulb on the top of my head. There was little blood there, but nothing hurt me. Nothing hurts me even today”, Vasiljka Lazovic said.
