USAID request for applications issued

We are pleased to announce USAID’s new Request for Applications (RFA ) on Women’s Leadership in Small and Medium Enterprises (WLSME) pilot research program issued in Washington. USAID/MPEP requests applications to this WLSME Program that propose innovative, scalable ideas to: (1) Directly increase the entry and growth of women-owned and/or women-managed small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the developing world; and (2) through participation in rigorous impact evaluation separately funded by USAID, generate learning for the field regarding what works and why. For the purposes of this program, SMEs are defined as enterprises with 5-250 employees, regardless of registration status.
